Champions Cup V – Quarter Finals Predictions

KLONDIKE, CPA Central Headquarters – The quarter finals are approaching quickly so I have decided to predict who will be advancing in this tournament.

Click here for the quarter final times!

Night Rebels vs Thugs

The Night Rebels has recently took the top spot in their group whilst the Thugs accepted a runner up position in group C.  The Night Rebels were recently hit with a fall in sizes whilst the Thugs has struggled to stay active. The Night Rebels has proven to be superior in the past, taking victories in all their previous battles. We have also seen the Thugs max sizes of a major army before even though they are no longer in their peak. I believe, due to the superiority of the Night Rebels that they will take the victory in this battle but the Thugs should remain unpredicted as they can belt out sizes that could match the Rebels.

The Editors’ Predictions:

  • Sammie, CPAC Vice President: Night Rebels
  • Lorenzo Bean, CPAC CEO: Night Rebels
  • 13 yearoldnoob, CPAC Editor in Chief: Night Rebels
  • Ben, CPAC Associate Producer: Night Rebels

Rebel Penguin Federation vs Blue Troops

The Rebel Penguin Federation has been dominating the community for the past month under the leadership of Bounce and Chip, usually earning themselves a top spot on our Top Ten. However, the Blue Troops have been in a struggle lately, gaining low sizes in their previous battles and hanging on to the bottom of the statistics. The RPF has proven that they are a force to be reckoned with after sweeping all their opponents in the group stages whilst the Blue Troops managed to gain hold in a struggling group. But due to the dominance of the RPF, this will be a one sided battle and it will be victory to the black penguins.

The Editors’ Predictions:

  • Sammie, CPAC Vice President: Rebel Penguin Federation
  • Lorenzo Bean, CPAC CEO: Rebel Penguin Federation
  • 13 yearoldnoob, CPAC Editor in Chief: Rebel Penguin Federation
  • Ben, CPAC Associate Producer: Rebel Penguin Federation

Wild Ninjas vs Army of CP

Personally, this will be the battle of the weekend. This will probably be the closest battle so far in this tournament and I believe that both armies will have to use all their energy to take victory here. Last weekend, the Army of CP pulled out a draw after a stunning battle with the Nachos whilst the Wild Ninjas proved their dominance by winning their group. Both armies has had similar positions in the top ten and both are very similar in terms of size. I cannot predict who will exactly win but I believe that the Wild Ninjas will have a slight edge in this battle. This battle will probably go into overtime though.

The Editors’ Predictions:

  • Sammie, CPAC Vice President: Wild Ninjas (predicted overtime)
  • Lorenzo Bean, CPAC CEO: Army of CP
  • 13 yearoldnoob, CPAC Editor in Chief: Army of CP
  • Ben, CPAC Associate Producer: Army of CP

Nachos vs Golds

The final battles see the Golds against Nachos. The Nachos have been known as the “underdogs” throughout the past year whilst the Golds have been performing better than expectations. Like the previous battle, this battle is likely to be close due to both armies similar in size and tactics. Both armies have a good leadership and been gaining good positions on the weekly top ten. But, in my opinion, I believe that this battle will end up with a nachos victory but the Golds can definitely pull an upset.

The Editors’ Predictions:

  • Sammie, CPAC Vice President: Nachos
  • Lorenzo Bean, CPAC CEO: Nachos
  • 13 yearoldnoob, CPAC Editor in Chief: Nachos
  • Ben, CPAC Associate Producer: Nachos (predicted overtime)

But who cares what we think! It’s about YOU! What do YOU predict? Who will win? Comment YOUR predictions below!
