UMA Soon To Invade Mammoth

The Underground Mafias Army has decided to invade Mammoth this Sunday, December 27th at 2:30 PST. Here is the reasoning that Harv gives for invading Mammoth:

“We are invading this not for us but for CP armies, the Mammoth wars shall return. If we win this battle, then the UMA will show we aren’t dead to cp army world and it shows that we are tough enough to face challenges that are difficult. Now let’s go win out there…”

However, Mammoth isn’t that useful of a server anymore for fighting. It is full most of the time, and if not, five bars. Getting two large armies to fit in there is hard, and not even the entirety of one army might be able to get in… especially if they have a lot of nonmembers. The rooms would also be crowded by a lot of other people, making it hard to fight.

Instead of putting my own poll, I decided to use the poll that the UMA already has up. This way the results will update on both our sites.

Club Penguin Crew Invades Southern Lights

Woton’s Section:

The Club Penguin Crew is definitely back, however they’ve had some major changes. Before, the Crew was thought of as power hungry and very inexpirirenced to Club Penguin Armies. Now, Jeepkid7 has hired very experienced people as all of his owner ranks, to help make sure he doesn’t make the same mistakes again and to lead the Crew to become a better army than they were before. Amit and I were actually hired as 2 of his owner ranks, along with Oberst544, Apocolypse66 and Panthers Bas, who are also very experienced and have been around Club Penguin Armies for a long time.

The Club Penguin Crew has invaded Southern Lights earlier today, at 1 PM PST. Southern Lights was previously owned by the Sun Troopers, who surrendered to the Crew after about half an hour. The battle took place in the Cove, where the Crew demonstrates their large numbers and good tactics. Click on any of the pictures to see them at full scale.

As you can see, the Club Penguin Crew had a very large amount of people attending this invasion, and appears to have gotten back on their feet quickly after their reconstruction.

CPA Central 2009 Holiday Contest!

Make sure to scroll down to below for the newest posts!

Over the time since CPA Central was created, we’ve had quite a few smaller contests. However, it’s time to end the year with a massive contest – the CPA Central 2009 Holiday Contest!

This contest is actually 3 different contests in one. Here are the rules:

  • You may enter however many of the contests as you like (the more you enter – the most your chances of winning are)!
  • On December 30th the contest will end and the winners will be announced.
  • There are 9 available prizes total. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners from all 3 contests will receive them.

There are going to be three 1st place winners, three 2nd place winners and three 3rd place winners. They will each receive the following prizes:

1st Place:

  • Author on CPA Central and access to the V.I.P. Site!
  • A $10 iTunes Gift Code and access to the V.I.P. Site!
  • A Club Penguin Coin Code and access to the V.I.P. Site!

2nd Place:

  • Access to the V.I.P. Site and your site on the CPA Central Blogroll!

3rd Place:

  • Access to the V.I.P. Site!

Commenting Contest:

The Commenting Contest is most likely the easiest contest here. All you have to do is simply comment on this post! Here are the rules:

  • Over the next week, until the contest ends, just try to comment as much as possible on this post!
  • You will probably have to comment at least a couple hundred times, but it really doesn’t take too long to do and the prizes are so huge!
  • The person with the most comments by the end of the contest will win a Main Prize, the person with the 2nd largest ammount of comments by the end of the contest will win the 2nd Place Prize and the person with the 3rd largest ammount of comments by the end of the contest will win the 3rd Place Prize!

So what are you waiting for? Let’s get commenting!

Note: The person who wins this contest will get 1st pick out of the Main Prizes!

Logo Design Contest:

Update: Remember to use the right spelling when you design your logo! I’ve gotten a couple of really awesome logos, but they have the spelling of something wrong. Two of them have “CPUC” or “CPCP” instead of “CPAC” and one of them has “Wonton” instead of “Woton.”

The Logo Design Contest is also probably one of the easier contests, since it’s mostly based on skill and there probably won’t be too many people entering it. Here are the rules:

  • Design a good looking logo for CPA Central. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, just a simply logo. Here’s an example of one:

  • Submit it using THIS FORM. (Do not comment it or it will most likely not be counted.)
  • I will pick the best 3 at the end of the contest. They will not be judged on how flashy they are or what newest program they used, but more of just the basic design and if it works with the site or not. The 1st place one will be used in the future and also as the Site Icon (in place of where the WordPress symbol is now).

Some things to think about when designing your logo for CPA Central:

  • Try to make it a circular shape, like the one above.
  • Don’t have too much stuff going on in it. It should just be fairly simple but with a nice layout/design.
  • Don’t put too much text in it. Probably the only text you should have should be “CPAC.”

Note: The person who wins this contest will get 2nd pick out of the Main Prizes!

Name That Army:

This is also one of the easier contests since it doesn’t require much work to do, but it’s also fairly more difficult since the quiz itself is pretty hard. Here are the rules:

  • You must try to figure out what each of the below armies are based on the hints (half of the armies will probably be pretty easy to figure out and some of them will probably be harder to figure out since they’re smaller armies).
  • Comment on this post with the number of the army given below and say what you think the army is, based on the clues.
  • When the contest is over, the first 3 people to get at least 9/10 of the armies right will win!

Here are the armies that you must try to figure out:

  1. This army is one of the newer armies around Club Penguin. They are a major army and their color is red. Their soldier of the month is Daltonjj1936:
  2. This army is a small army. It’s abbreviation is 4 letters long and one of the words in it’s name is “Rulers.” It’s site has over 100k hits and one of it’s leaders is named Ace Boi108:
  3. This army was created by a famous Club Penguin blogger a long time ago. It’s color is orange:
  4. This army was formerly lead by Person1233 and Pengster48 before it fell and became completely inactive in April of 2009:
  5. This army rose very quickly in the last couple of months to become one of the largest major armies today. It’s color is orange and the Winged Helmet is part of it’s uniform:
  6. This army is a medium army that has been around for a long time. Their color is brown/black and it’s name starts with R. One of their 3ic’s used to be an UMA Leader:
  7. This army has risen quite a bit in the last 6 months or so and is now one of the smaller major armies. It has a 4 letter abbreviation and it’s president is Jord Fan:
  8. This army is a medium army. It’s abbreviation is two of the same letter. It’s color is black and it’s 3ic is Apom59. It’s site has over 120k views:
  9. This army is one of the oldest armies in Club Penguin. They recently tried to fake Pink Mafias being one of their leaders:
  10. This army has a 3 letter abbreviation and is a medium army that many people think will soon be major. All of it’s owner ranks are really well known and one of them is Houndy66:

Some other hints to help you Name That Army:

  • Almost all of these army site’s are on the Nacho’s blogroll.
  • All of these armies are still active today and have over 20k views on their sites.
  • You can easily find all of these armies through Google.

Club Penguin Army Awards: Nominations!

The Club Penguin Army Awards are starting! These Awards will elect the best of 2009 in over 20 different categories through a system of nominations and elections. Here’s how it works:

How It Works:

  • Leave a comment on this post filling out however many of the below categories with the people/armies/battles you think should win (only one answer per category).
  • This post will be left up for about five days. At the end of them, I will count how many people nominated a person/army/battle for each category.
  • For a person/army/battle to pass onto the final round of polls, they must have at least 5 nominations from separate people (nominations must be elegible – for example, you can’t nominate someone for leader of the year who wasn’t ever a leader).
  • The final polls will last about a week. There will be a post with about 20 polls on it for each category, which you will be able to vote on.
  • On January 1st the Club Penguin Army Awards will be announced!

Nomination Categories:

Below are the categories which you can nominate people in. You can either copy and paste this form into a comment and fill it out or you can just write down the numbers into a comment and fill them out proportionately:

  1. Army of the Year:
  2. New Army of the Year:
  3. Leader of the Year:
  4. Person of the Year:
  5. War of the Year:
  6. Event of the Year:
  7. Small Army of the Year:
  8. Most Grown Army of the Year:
  9. Fail of the Year:
  10. Worst Leader of the Year:
  11. Revolution / Rebellion of the Year:
  12. Quote of the Year:
  13. NOOb of the Year:
  14. Best Army Site of the Year:
  15. Army with Best Graphics of the Year:
  16. Funniest Army of the Year:
  17. Funniest Leader of the Year:
  18. Biggest Retirement of the Year:
  19. Most Active Army of the Year:
  20. Most Memorable Event of the Year:

You can answer as many or as little of these categories as you want (although just answering all of them is better). Just make sure you number them proportionally!

Obviously, these events will be slightly more centered towards the last part of the year, so just keep in mind to think about the entire year of 2009, but really – what are you going to do about it? The polls will start on December 24th, so make sure to nominate your favorites before then!

Growing Armies – PDW, AGP and SW!

Hey guys its Donut67890 and Woton in a collab post to bring you some of the medium armies that are going to have their impact soon.

Penguin Dynamite Warriors:

The PDW is a medium army that came out of nowhere to become quite large. Below is a picture of their chat at one of their battles:

Below is a picture of one of their recent battles, which they had a fairly large turnout at:

Army of Great Penguins:

The AGP is another army that’s seemed to rise very quickly, although it’s still somewhat of a medium army. Below is a picture of one of their recent battles:

Below is another picture of one of their recent battles.

Below is a picture of the AGP’s chat.

Shadow Warriors:

The Shadow Warriors are definitely an army that’s grown a lot just in the last week or so. Below is a picture of their chat, with about 20 people on it, during a battle.

The Decade’s End Tourney Preview for Battle Day 1

Woton’s Edit: Actually, the Tourney is going to be quite a bit different than this and I’m going to be planning it.

Super long title I know. But since Wotonz has confirmed that The Decades End is going to happen, I have decided to make a preview for Match Day 1. Tomorrow I will do Match Day 2. Got it? Here’s The Bracket:

And here’s how I think in an unbiased way, how the Underdogs and Favorites go

Favorites Underdogs

ACP                                      VS                                   PDW

Tacos                                    VS                                 MFW

FW                                            VS                               CPST

HSA                                          VS                                MCP

Now for my previews of the battles

ACP, the largest army on Club Penguin, is facing a very smaller than them, in the Penguin Dynamite Warriors. The PDW have been on the rise.  Obviously, ACP is a way bigger army than PDW. PDW can average 10-15 people, while ACP can have up to 80-90 people. So yeah.. expect what you’ll expect.

This battle has a chance for MFW to win. MFW is an army that averages 10-15 people as well. If Tacos have Riffy they will crush MFW. But if they don’t I expect a MAJOR Upset to happen. Tacos without Riffy average 10-15 people as well. I honestly think that even without Riffy, Tacos will win. BUT, MFW can pull of an upset if they reach their maximum battle total, which is about 20. This will be a one to watch.

This is another battle to watch. CPST has been on the run kicking away competition. FW is a strong force that has been along this road more than once. FW can average 10-15+ per battle. CPST averages the same.  I personally think that FW’s Unknown Tactics and others will help FW prevail and defeat CPST.

One word: Ugly. This battle is as ugly as it gets. MCP is a growing army, but after HSA’s MONSTER turnout in the defense of Freezer, they’d have to some MAJOR mass recruitment to get even close. Two Words= HSA wins.

Thats all for now from me.. enjoy the tourney my friends.
